Emraan Hashmi chases Shruti Haasan in Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji: He is single, an incorrigible flirt, and likes to chase girls. Emraan Hashmi yet again plays a lover boy in Madhur Bhandarkar’s movie Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji.

When approached, Shruti Haasan’s representative, speaking on behalf of the actress, refuses to accept the fact that she is already a part of the upcoming Kollywood venture. Rather, the representative says that director of ‘Nanbaenda’ Rajesh is still in talks with Shruti Haasan briefing her on the character she will have to portray in his upcoming project, however, the actress has not signed on the dotted line yet.
It is to be recalled here that the title ‘Nanbaenda’ has been taken from Rajesh’s superhit commercial potboiler ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’. It was a phrase made famous in the earlier release and this time Rajesh has penned a script for ‘Nanbaenda’ which will reportedly give equal screen space to the hero and the heroine of his upcoming project. Therefore, it is expected that Shruti haasan has been offered quite a meaty role in ‘Nanbaenda’. At moment, the hottest commercial director in Kollywood is Rajesh. His Siva Manasulla Sakthi (SMS) and Boss Engira Baskaran (BEB) were not only successful, but gave a new lease of life to its heroes Jeeva and Arya. So it was not surprising when Udhayanidhi Stalin after hearing the script of his Oru Kal Oru Kannadi (a title taken from SMS song), decided to launch himself as hero under Rajesh’s direction.
Udhayanidhi and Rajesh have renamed the film as Nanbenada (after punchline expression in BEB). In Nanbenada, heroine has an important role and as much footage as the hero. The Kollywood grapevine is abuzz that Rajesh and Udhayanidhi have roped in Shruthi Haasan to play this important role. The actress is already playing heroine in Udhayanidhi’s Red Giant produced 7am Arivu opposite Surya. However, when contacted Shruthi was not avalable for comment. Sruthi’s manager has confirmed that she is in negotiation with Red Giants, and will confirm the news only after she signs on the dotted line.
