Thank You’ Movie First Look: fresh pairing Akshay Kumar with Sonam Kapoor: For all those cine buffs who wanted to see the fresh pairing of Sonam Kapoor and Akshay Kumar here is a sneak peek into their film Thank You.

Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is a comedy ,based in Canada, with many stars including Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sunil Shetty and Celina Jaitley. Anees who has given hit comedies like Welcome and No Entry is working for the first time with Sonam and this film is also the actress’s first comedy.

Though Sonam is quite young in comparison to Akki, after seeing the images, unveiled by Sonam on her site and also on Twitter, we can say the duo looks fresh and can bring out a smashing chemistry on screen. The movie is releasing April 8.

Recently, while shooting for the movie, Sonam was said okay only after giving one or two takes whereas Shahid had to give four to five takes to get a green signal from the director. This simple incident made the silly girl think that she is more spontaneous than her co-star, who is much more experienced than her in the industry.

The sources from the unit have some other angle to the story. As per the sources, the director thought that Sonam cannot do better than this with just three years of experience in the industry so she was shown the green signal after two takes. She was not pushed much to give something better. On the other hand, expectations were high from Shahid after his fantastic performance in Vishal Bharadwaj’s Kaminey. So, the director pushed him until he offered his best, Pankaj knew that his son can do much better so did not stop until four or five takes.

But this gave Sonam an idea of being superior to Shahid in acting! She did not think that her range is limited and Shahid has much more variety in him. We hope, the girl realises it soon and better learns some acting lessons from her humble father Anil Kapoor, who is considered to be one of the greatest actors of Bollywood!

Sonam Kapoor and Imran Khan who made such a lovey-dovey duo in I Hate Luv Storys seem to be at loggerheads. First, it was Imran who allegedly passed a taunt at Sonam while appearing on the show Koffee With Karan.

Imran had reportedly said that Sonam should “do more movies, less magazine covers”.

The jibe obviously did not go down well with Sonam who has replied back with equal wryness in an interview.

“Imran is really sweet and I like him, but I can't take someone so wet behind the ears seriously. He still has a lot to do before he makes statements like that,” Sonam is quoted to have said.

Meanwhile, on a different front Rishi Kapoor has launched an all out attack on Sonam and Deepika Padukone for deriding Ranbir Kapoor on Koffee With Karan.

The Italian Job Remake: filming with Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor: Abbas Mustan's remake of the Hollywood crime thriller The Italian Job started filming in Goa today, November 8.

The film headlines Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol and Sonam Kapoor.

Sonam and Abhishek shared their excitement with their Twitter fans:

"In goa starting a new film.. Excited and nervous all over again.." Sonam tweeted yesterday evening.

"It's a new dawn, it's a new day and it's a new film!!! 1st day of shoot. Ok, I think I'll go faint now!! Nervous" Abhishek tweeted early morning today.

The film's unit was welcomed with stormy weather in the tourist hotspot, but the team was hard at work with the lead pair filming a dance sequence.

"Dancing with atjuniorbachchan both of us are trying to make our long limbs shake gracefully." Sonam tweeted in the afternoon.

The film additionally features Neil Nitin Mukesh, Omi Vaidya and Bipasha Basu.

It's an official adaptation of the 2003 heist film, The Italian Job, headlining Mark Wahlberg and Charlize Theron.

Abhishek Bachchan will play Mark Wahlberg's role and Sonam Kapoor - Charlize Theron's; Omi Vaidya will step into Seth Green's shoes and Bobby Deol into Jason Statham's; Neil plays the villain Steve's role, essayed in the original by Edward Norton.

The Studio 18 bank rolled film will be next shot in Russia and New Zealand.

Sonam Kapoor calls Shobhaa De the Wicked Witch

Those of you, who consider Sonam Kapoor to be one of the sweetest Bollywood actresses, should think again. Sonam Kapoor can be quite vindictive towards people who don't sing her praises.

Recently Sonam Kapoor unleashed her fury at her long time rival Shobhaa De at the Halloween Bash of Bombay Times. The Kapoor girl turned up at the party all decked up and bonded big time with Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.

The trio had a gala time at the Halloween Bash of Bollywood Times. Later, in the night they were seen debating on the contender for the 'Wicked Witch' title of Bollywood.

After a lot of cajoling the group revealed that Sonam considered Shobhaa De fit to be the 'Wicked Witch of Bollywood'. The other two members of the trio were also unanimous in their support for Sonam's decision and said that the columnist and 'Page 3' regular Shobhaa De deserves the title.

Recently Shobhaa De wrote a bad review of Sonam Kapoor's movie I Hate Luv Storys and named it I Hate Dumb Stories. The actress was quick to come back with a verbal quip that seemed like a personal attack to the veteran columnist and writer.

The verbal jibes between the actress and the film critic has turned into a Battle Royale. These two celebrities do not seem to miss a single opportunity to exchange a few caustic remarks about each other.

By labeling Shobhaa De as the 'Wicked Witch' of Bollywood, Sonam has made it very clear that she will lash out against anyone who does not flatter her with compliments.
