Katrina Kaif play a female lead in Kabir Khan's next: New York Film director Kabir Khan is gearing up to direct his next venture with Yash Raj Films. And Katrina Kaif is a strong contender to bag the female lead. "I have locked the script recently. Now, I am feeling a little relieved," says Kabir.
But the interesting question is: will Katrina be the leading lady in his film again after New York? " Nothing is finalised. But yes, she is being considered strongly for the role," says Kabir.
Of late, reports suggested that Kat was all set to sign his film after they were spotted at a posh eatery in Mumbai. "Yes, I met Katrina at a coffee house but that's not a big deal. She is a good friend and we meet whenever we have time. Our meeting doesn't mean that she is doing all my films. But we share a great equation and superb working relationship," clarifies Kabir.
After hard-hitting films like Kabul Express and New York, Kabir is going to alter his story a bit. "It's going to be a little different from what I am known for but it will surely be in the genre I am most comfortable with," adds the director, whose film is going to be the most expensive film Yash Raj has ever produced.
"It will need a big amount because the story demands it. It's simple," he says.
