Jr NTR Shakti Ticket Politics

As much as the cine members might claim about unity and transparency, politics runs like a strong undercurrent in the film fraternity. Unfortunately, it is some of the most respected and senior members of the circuit who tend to spin the wheel and pretend as though they are not part of what is happening.

Right now, the buzz in Tollywood is about the politics being played for ‘Shakti’. Apparently, few big league producers approached the Chief Minister requesting for a hike in the ticket price. This sudden move is being attributed to the fact that ‘Shakti’ is arriving in few days and those who bought the rights are keen on cashing in maximum. One name making strong rounds for this is Dasari Narayana Rao who has reportedly bought the rights for Naizam area.

As expected, this move has not gone well with the small time producers who claim that this is a death blow to their livelihood if the ticket prices rise. As it is, the audience is having a real tough time unable to keep up with the multiplex costs and this crooked politics is bringing further trouble.
