The movie is being directed by noted story writer Vijayendra Prasad, father of SS Rajamouli and produced by Nagarjuna under his home production ‘Annapurna Studios’. Nagarjuna will be seen playing the title role ‘Rajanna’. Director claims that the film is based on ‘Razakar Movement’. Sneha and Nagarjuna were seen together in a super hit movie of 2006, ‘Sri Ramadasu’.
