Well Known actor Rami Reddy, who is better known as ’Ankusham’ Ramireddy, passed away this morning on Today (April 14th, 2011) at Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) in Hyderabad. Rami Reddy had been suffering from a kidney disease from past few years.
Rami Reddy made his debut in Tollywood with the film Ankusham in 1989 under the direction of Kodi Ramakrishna. He played the negative role in Anukusham, which movie gave him a good break and he becomes a popular as Ankusham Rami Reddy.
Rami Reddy acted in almost 250 films in many languages, such as Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, Bhojpuri and Malayalm.
Rami Reddy was seen in the film’s Hindi counterpart Prathibandh as "Spot" Anna, acting alongside Chiranjeevi and Juhi Chawla.
Some of her best films in his career are Ankusham, Gaayam, Anaganaga Oka Roju, Ammoru, Peddrikam, Osey Ramulamma, Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari and Anji. He played the Villain role in many films.
